B Clasp
A circular fastening pivots in place to secure the bag and form the shape of the lowercase ‘b’. This movement is achieved through an intricate mechanism that operates using small, interconnected components working in tangent to rotate the hardware.
Rein-inspired Straps
Straps attach to the main body of the bag using stitching in the shape of an uppercase B. The strap adjusts the design from a crossbody to a shoulder bag and features brushed metal prongs inspired by the hardware on horse reins.
Saddle Shape
When placed on its base the bag rocks back and forth, resembling the motion of the traditional wooden toy. The curved shape is achieved by hand using a carved wooden mould and precise cutting techniques.
House codes such as the iconic Burberry Check, a pattern introduced in the 1920s, feature on selected styles.
